LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto on Friday said that the government will have to accept the opposition-proposed Terms of Reference (TORs) in the investigation of the Panama leaks issue.
While addressing a party session here at the Bilawal House, the PPP chairman said the party wanted that the issue of the Panama leaks commission be resolved with dialogue between the government and opposition parties.
He said as the Supreme Court had rejected the government’s terms of reference, it would now have to sit with the opposition and draft new TORs. He added that the PPP wanted across the board accountability regarding the matter.
Talking about the Peshawar by-elections, Bilawal said his party had won the by-elections, but the results were changed to defeat them.
